The world is so diverse that there are Pokemon with the same name, but grew up differently in a different region, so they would have different types, such as the Vulpix from the Kanto region is a Fire type, but the Vulpix from the Alola region is an Ice type! From the lush forests of the Hoenn region to the icy landscapes of the Sinnoh region, each area offers a different experience for trainers. Even Legendary Pokemon are often tied to specific regions, making exploration and discovery a key part of the Pokemon adventure.
